This is SYM's jump into the motorcycle lane with a new 250cc. Hyosung Korea did it, Kymco did it with the Venox and 2012 is the year SYM wants to get into an entry level sportbike for the export markets. In Asia you're limited where you can ride these things, but to expand in Europe and in growth markets like South America you need a Sportbike that is both affordable and modern. Don't expect to see this in the USA.
